The work Sherrie has put in has helped her obtain institutional knowledge surrounding education. Sherrie’s commitment to participating and showing up regularly to events such as school board meetings, committee meetings, volunteering, fundraisers, listening to people in the community, and the many conversations about public education has provided insight/understanding to the relationship between her community and ISD.
